Studio Production, Week 11
Students will produce a daily "Live" production
Students will work on a weekly project and learn new video/ production skills
1. Each day, students will arrive at 7:30 and begin actual production at 7:45
2. Students will participate in a Post Production Discussion (Students will discuss the daily program, changes, positive comments and next-day production
3. Next, Students will work on their weekly project. Each week, students will complete a small video project for BASH.
4. This week's project: Students will complete candid projects
Monday: Students will edit and revise graded Package Projects
Tuesday: Students will be given camera and assigned to create a candid section for BASH
-This will entail students and teacher in natural surroundings
-Students must follow ALL Journalism 3 rules. (Including rule #1: Students may not film in a classroom without a permission slip signed by the teacher PRIOR to the filming date) Students will in NO WAY disrupt classrooms.
- The project must have a creative title, clean edits, voice overs or music
-Projects must exceed 1:00
-Projects must have variety and a theme.
-Topics must be approved by teacher prior to filming
-Students will turn in a brief paragraph by Tuesday explaining their ideas

1/17- SCRIPTS ARE DUE
1/18-1/23-FILMING AND EDITING
200 point project
This will be the last one for the marking period
Friday, 1/25- All studio group projects must be edited for a grade.
Personal note: I was very excited about your last assignment. Your news packages were wonderful. I received a lot of positive feedback from students and teachers. Your hard work is very apparent. Keep up the great work! I am proud of your efforts.
** I would like to see candid/ packages that are just as entertaining.

Thursday, 1/3 - Friday, 1/11- Students will create an original news package featuring a special or notable event in our school. They can feature a person who has made a positive contribution to the student body, a group, events, a team, etc.
Friday, 1/4- All studio group projects must be edited for a grade.
