Studio Assignment:
-Over the next 4 weeks, each group will Produce/ Direct 1 week (4 episodes) of BASH
-These will be original productions with your assigned group's "twist" on our daily production
-Please make sure your graphics are ready to go (You may change your graphics for each day of the show
-Remember to incorporate 1 package on a REMARKABLE person
SENIOR VIDEO:
1. You will each be assigned a section of the senior video
2. You will complete it by 2/3/10.... NO EXCUSES...I WILL NOT ALTER MY DEADLINE! I DON'T CARE HOW NICE YOUR ARE OR HOW MUCH WORK YOU HAVE TO DO!
IDEA 3: FRIDAY JOURNAL FOR FILM PROJECT
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
Students will produce a daily "Live" production
Students will work on a weekly project and learn new video/ production skills
1. Each day, students will arrive at 7:30 and begin actual production at 7:45
2. Students will participate in a Post Production Discussion (Students will discuss the daily program, changes, positive comments and next-day production

1/4/10 - 1/22/10
Happy New Year!
Yep, it's a fresh start, and my ideas have been spinning. I've decided (as teacher and exec. producer of this class) that we need a change! So, you being the luckiest students in the world are going to help me carry out a plan.
Idea 1: (This is not a suggestion. It's a HUGE graded requirement. I used the word idea to sound kind and encouraging)
We are going to totally revamp BASH -- Your style!
You will have this week to plan and turn in your formal ideas. (That doesn't mean short little paragraphs, but an entire detailed plan describing each segment in your show)
1. You and a partner will produce a week of BASH. You will design the format and the flow.
2. The two of you will be totally in charge to assure that your show goes as planned.
3. You will come up with the various segments for the morning announcements....THE SHOW STYLE MUST BE DIFFERENT. (This BASH production is MY idea.)
4. Yep, that means you are responsible for NEW GRAPHICS (You will make them- you can ask any person in the class for help....they have to agree. Remember, you must help each other.)
5. One mandatory requirement is that you feature something REMARKABLE in our school through CREATIVE news packages.
REVIEW OF REQUIREMENTS
1. Format of show - including segment details
2. Staff list
3. Graphics
4. Remarkable and Creative news packages
5. Map of Studio set up
6. Draw camera directions
7. Provide a listing of camera movements throughout your show
Deadlines:
-The 7 written requirements will be turned in by Wednesday, 1/6/10
-You will turn in storyboards for your graphics by Friday, 1/8/10
-Your segment graphics will be due by Wednesday, 1/13/10
-Remember your senior video segment is due on Friday, 1/22/10
-We will broadcast each BASH for 1 week
-You won't know what week, I get to pick them. (So, you will only be informed on Thursday prior to your production week)
