Intro to the studio


Camera Shot, Angle, and Movement Quiz will be Friday, 9/11

 Students will alternate work in one of two groups throughout the week to assure social distancing:


Assignment 1:

Students will practice quizzing each other using their notecards to practice for Thursday's test.  (9/10)


Assignment 2:

Student will work with the teacher/ Journalism Assistant to learn to operate the various positions in the studio:

(The class will cover 2-3 positions per day)

Practice Camera Shots, Angles, and Movements and TEST

  Wednesday/ Thursday

1. Review Practice scripts

   A. With the person in your row, read your script (Stay in your desks, you are 6 feet apart)

  B. Begin with your paragraph, and then read your script

  C. Have them time your shots

  D. Discuss each shot to make sure they work.


2. Review your flash cards with your neighbor


3. Homework for the virtual Day:M/T

Study your cards, you will have a Camera Shot, Movement, and Angle test when you return to school after your long weekend.

4. Friday- We are going to Discuss Foundational elements of a video

-Lower Thirds

-Transitions

-Clean Cuts and Cues

-Adobe Premiere

5. Written test: M/W - Tuesday, 9/7
                        T/Th -Wednesday, 9/8
(This will include all of the Camera shots, Movements, and Angles on the Basic Worksheet in Google Classroom as well as the extra shots reviewed on the blog links
