Anchor 2:  Good after noon and welcome to another edition of Bash TV.  I’m Zoe Zajac.
Anchor 1: And I am Marie Spuches. Today Monday,October 6th  and Day 2 in the cycle.
Anchor 2: And that makes today the official 28th day of school.

2.    1Any student interested in taking the Driver Theory course should stop in the Guidance Office for a registration form.  Classes will be held Saturdays/Sundays beginning in October.  The cost of the course is $50 and must be paid with your registration.  Any questions, see Mrs. Curry.
  
2.The PSAT will be given here on Wednesday, October 15th, during periods 1 through 4.  All college-bound juniors and sophomores should plan to take the PSAT.  The cost of the test is $14.00.  There are a limited number of tests available.  Students may register with Mrs. Curry in the Guidance Office.

2   If you are in 11th or 12th grade and need some help making career decisions, then think about taking the ASVAB.  Sign up for the ASVAB in the Guidance Office today.  The test will be given here at the high school on November 12th during periods 1 through 4.

2.    Students are encournged to enter the “Voice of Democracy” Essay Contest.  This year’s theme is “Why Veterans Are Important To Our Nation’s History And Future.”  For more information, see Mr. Seely or Mrs. Curry in the Guidance Office


2    School Picture Retakes have been scheduled for November 5th.  Any student who needs a picture form may pick one up in the Main Office.

2.This year’s Homecoming Ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 11th beginning at 7:00 pm in the auditorium.  The cost to attend the ceremony will be $2.00.  The Homecoming Dance will immediately follow the ceremony . . . tickets will be available in the Guidance Office beginning Monday, September 29th, for a cost of $10.00.  Guest passes for Homecoming are available in the Main Office . . . any student who does not currently attend Berwick High School must have an approved Guest Pass and a Photo ID to attend the Homecoming Dance.  Middle School students may NOT attend the dance.

1.    Well, it is spirit week, and tomorrow  is TELEVISION TUESDAY . . . pick your favorite TV character, cartoon character, or commercial character. 
Remember . . . all students who participate in Spirit Week must purchase a Spirit Week Pin in the Guidance Office.  Pins are $3.00 each

1.     In honor of breast cancer awareness month, Girls’ Volleyball will be hosting a “Dig Pink” match vs. Lake Lehman on October 8th.  The team will be selling pink wrist bands for $2.00 and temporary tattoos for $1.00.  All proceeds will go to the Dig Pink Foundation to support breast cancer research.  See a team member for your wrist band or tattoo today!

2 Horizon members . . . t-shirt money and Gertrude Hawk candy bar money are now due.  Be sure to hand it in to Mrs. Phillips in room 2.

2.     SENIORS . . . please submit your class poem, class song, colors, and flower for class favorites by Friday, October 17th.

1Any student who is going on the trip to Costa Rica needs to stop by Ms. Rothery's room (room 29) for important information.

1.     Students who are interested in joining Interact should drop their papers off to Mrs. Kern in room 63 this week.

2.    FBLA will meet tomorrow at 7:30 am in room 55.  Your $12.00 dues must be in by that day.

1.    The first JOLTT meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 8th, at 2:50 pm in Mr. Thatcher’s room 53.

2.    The next SADD meeting will be held on Thursday, October 9th, before school at 7:30 am or after school at 2:40 pm in the library.  Please plan to attend.  Students are still welcome to join through the end of October.
1/  All Juniors are reminded to pay their class dues need to be paid ASAP.  Dues are $20, and can be paid in room 60/  Everu Junior who has not participated in fundraising is required to pay their dues each year.
