Any student interested in
taking the Driver Theory course should stop in the Guidance Office for a
registration form. Classes will be held Saturdays/Sundays beginning in
October. The cost of the course is $50 and must be paid with your
registration. Any questions, see Mrs. Curry.
2.The PSAT will be given here on Wednesday, October 15th,
during periods 1 through 4. All
college-bound juniors and sophomores should plan to take the PSAT. The cost of the test is $14.00. There are a limited number of tests
available. Students may register with
Mrs. Curry in the Guidance Office.

1. Any student
interested in joining Youth in Philanthropy may pick up an application in the
Guidance Office. All applications will be due back today at 3:00 pm.
- The Guidance Office will
hold SENIOR INFORMATION NIGHT this evening
at 6:30 pm in the auditorium.
Information on college applications, SATs, financial aid, and the
graduation project will be discussed

2.This
year’s Homecoming Ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 11th
beginning at 7:00 pm in the auditorium.
The cost to attend the ceremony will be $2.00. The Homecoming Dance will immediately follow
the ceremony . . . tickets will be available in the Guidance Office beginning
Monday, September 29th, for a cost of $10.00. Guest passes for Homecoming are available in
the Main Office . . . any student who does not currently attend Berwick High
School must have an approved Guest Pass and a Photo ID to attend the Homecoming
Dance. Middle School students may NOT
attend the dance.

students need to check your school email to get your student SKYWARD accountsA College Fair
will be held at the Campus Center at LCCC in Nanticoke on Thursday, October 16th,
from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Over 100 college
and university representatives will be in attendance to answer questions about
their admissions process, programs, and financial aid. All college-bound juniors and seniors and
their parents should try to attend.

The Nescopeck Alumni
Association is looking for students to help set up and tear down for their
Class Reunion on October 18th and 19th. Students may use the hours earned toward
their Graduation Project. Anyone
interested or needing more information should see Mrs. Curry in the Guidance
Office.
1The Berwick YMCA is looking for
student volunteers to help clean their outside grounds and flower beds. Students interested should go to the YMCA
front desk.
2A Volunteer Fair will be held here at
the high school on Friday, October 3rd, during all three
lunches. Numerous agencies will be on
hand to talk about the volunteer opportunities at their organizations.
1The next FBLA meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 7th
at 7:30 am in room 55. Your $12.00 dues
must be in by that day.
