Studio Production, Weeks 7 and 8 (11/1-11/12)
Students will produce a daily "Live" production
Students will work on a weekly project and learn new video/ production skills

1. Each day, students will arrive at 7:30 and begin actual production at 7:45

2. Students will participate in a Post Production Discussion (Students will discuss the daily program, changes, positive comments and next-day production

3. Next, Students will work on their weekly project. Each week, students will complete a small video project for BASH. (The first project will entail students completing new segments for BASH)

MONDAY:
**Rem all segments are due EVERY Monday
Please export to the folder:

4. folder entitled 2011 graphics - folder entitled graphics

5. This week, students will run through production

NEXT WEEK:
**PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOUR GROUP SEGMENT #8 WILL BE DUE Monday, November 1st

CURRENT PROJECT
Details:
Project 1
80's Music video
1. The class will be divided in half
2. Each group will be assigned a JA as an executive producer
3. The class will watch a collection of music videos
4. Each group will brainstorm song titles and ideas/ concepts for their group projects
5. JA's will assign positions
6. Each student will receive a performance check

DEADLINES:
-Taping: Friday, 10/29-Wednesday, 11/3
-All footage should be imported each day ....import as you work
-Thursday, 11/4-Friday, 11/12 - Editing
-Friday, 11/12 - All videos must be EXPORTED into a folder entitled "80's Music Videos"
-REQUIREMENT- Your video must be proofed before it is exported
-2 groups must evaluate your video before you export. I would proof on Wed. and Thurs.
-Each group must fill out an evaluation sheet and incorporate suggestions/ comments

REMEMBER:
**Specific script: including camera directions: (everyone must incorporate min. 5 camera angles)
**List 5 elements of an 80's music video and tell how they will be used

YOU MAY BEGIN TAPING AS SOON AS YOUR SCRIPT IS TURNED IN

** ANY GROUP MEMBER NOT WORKING ON THE PROJECT WILL LOSE POINTS FOR THE ENTIRE GROUP
(EACH TIME A GROUP MEMBER IS FOUND DOING OTHER WORK, TALKING OR WALKING AROUND THE ROOM, 10 POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED)
